Ben’s Coast to Coast

I’ll be taking on self a inflicted ‘virtual ride’ across South Africa from Alexander Bay on the west coast (Atlantic ocean) to Durban on the east side (Indian ocean) a total of 1729km’s (1074 miles)
Why?
Well this year I’m excited be taking part in the Ride London event in May with Team Qhubeka✋
The Qhubeka charity helps poor communities in South Africa get to school, work, hospital etc by supplying them with bikes and also teaching them how to maintain them along with other skills.
The intention of the team is raise a few quid for Qhubeka at Ride London, but I thought I’d make it a bit more interesting by doing something a bit more sadistic!
So between 1st January and 29th May I’ll be on my bike clocking up the miles and hopefully completing the 1729km’s on the finish line on Tower Bridge!
