Can you believe Becky is retiring?!

What a bittersweet time this is as she’s closing the doors to her daycare after 38 years in business. There have been many emotions as I have been reflecting on the years, but I know our family feels completely blessed with how each of you has touched our lives. Your families are what helped make our home a home, and growing up in school, I loved bragging about how I had 12 more siblings during the weekdays. :)

I know my mom loved each child that came through her door as her own, and as many of you know, my mom is someone who will put others before herself. She was always up early and late at night preparing lesson plans, projects, events, and more. Wow, she loved her daycare.

With that being said, my mom does not know much about rest. I hardly remember her taking a sick day or more than a few days of a vacation during the years. So, for those of you who asked about giving her a gift, I thought we could pitch in to send her on a trip to teach her to “kick back” and to “kick-off” her retirement.

Thank you again for the impact you all have had on our lives and for helping me celebrate my wonderful mother. Though we are selling our home, please know our “door” will always be open. I hope you all stay in touch so we can continue to see your children grow into the amazing people they were made to be.
