Karl and Becca welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Elaine Claire Bartholomay, into their family on August 3rd. Shortly after being born, she was taken to the NICU with some labored breathing. They have found that her vocal cords are paralyzed, which affects her ability to swallow and breathe easily.

Since then, they have done an MRI to try to determine the cause, but did not find anything. She currently has a breathing tube to help keep her calm and a feeding tube so she is able to get milk. While they are waiting for next steps, Elaine is enjoying the time she gets cuddling with mom and dad.

All funds raised will go to help the family with medical expenses now and on going.
