Hello! This go fund me is for our mom, Valerie. As some of you may know, on September 17 my mom went in for what was supposed to be a normal surgery. By September 19th she was back in the operating room with sepsis and we were pretty sure we were going to lose my mom. But her, being the strong willed and not wanting to leave all her babies behind, powered through! After 12 days in the hospital, 4 of which were spent in ICU, my mom is finally home and trying to recover. That being said, she is still, at the moment relying heavily on oxygen and is slowly regaining her strength. My mom still has a long way to go and she needs our help. My mother is a very selfless women, an independent women, who refuses to ask for help and feels guilty when she requires it. My siblings and I are making this go fund me to help with our mother’s expenses while she heals. She had to push her start date for her job back and is now stressing about finances. The $5,000 goal will cover all expenses for my mother for 2 months until she is able to return to work (Nov 3) and receive her first check.
