At BEAM, we know how hard it can be for a child to feel like they belong. Many of our students come to us after struggling in traditional settings, often feeling misunderstood or isolated. BEAM is here to change that.

BEAM is an after-school program created by a team of educators and behavior specialists who saw too many students falling through the cracks. We provide trauma-informed care, academic intervention, and social-emotional learning support for children with disabilities and complex behavioral needs — kids who are often excluded from other programs due to the level of support they require.

The JTMF Foundation has committed $60,000 to support BEAM if we can raise $58,200 by December 1st. This match would fund a full year of programming at our current location and allow us to hire another specialized staff member — increasing the number of students we can serve and strengthening our long-term stability.
