Be Part of Space Training

Hi, my name is Joey Corso.  I'm 17, a junior in high school and an aspiring astronaut.   I have been attending the US Space and Rocket Center for the past 3 years training and preparing for my ultimate goal of being one of the first on the mission to Mars in 2033. 

I am a student ambassador and founding member of The Mars Generation.  I present to elementary and middle schools on the importance of STEM and deep space exploration and have spoken to over 3,500 students so far and continue to do so. 

I've been accepted as one of the youngest to be part of a scientist-astronaut program called Project PoSSUM.
 
I have also been invited as one of only 10 from around the world to participate in a once in a lifetime program. 

 This program is in  Connecticut (April 8-16)  and is a Bioastronautics graduate program in Survival Systems.  This program is taught by former NASA instructors in Egress and Rescue Operations and Space Suit Post Landing Operational Testing.  The latter course will use a full-scale simulator of NASA's Orion spacecraft, as well as, parachute entry training/testing. 

 By donating you will help me be one of the youngest to complete this program which gives me the training to make a suborbital flight and take part in suborbital missions.

Please help me raise the funds of $9,500 to complete this mission.  Any donation is very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and share my goals.  If funds raised exceed $9,500 then I will use those extra funds to help others and send kids to Space Camp in Hunstville, Alabama this summer.  Wouldn't that be out of this world!
