Keeping our home! Bayview Barnyard

We are a home of teachers, non-profit workers and blue collar workers, who have lived in SF for over a decade.  Our amazing home in the Bayview is a hub for many communities of San Francisco.  When our landlord died this summer we were deeply saddened because we had been talking with him about trying to buy the house.  On Nov 30th our home went on the market and we first freaked out....and then we went in to action to try to find a way to buy it.  The offer we put in was accepted on December 16th!   I cried with joy and amazement.

We now have just 30 days to raise  $50,000 to make our home forever goal. 

I think we can do this. YOU, my friends are superduper generous.  If only 500 people give 100 bucks we would be there!  If you give 1000 bucks,  I will roast a pig in your name. (Or make you and amazing vegetarian bbq party)  If you give 5000 bucks I will roast a pig and host your birthday party.  Even if you only can give a penny, the Bayview Barnyard residents will be forever grateful.  Let's fund this home and community event center.  How else will sex education teachers be able to afford to buy a house in San Francisco?
