Todd Banion / Banion strong

This story is about the strongest man I have ever known. Todd was diagnosed in 2014 with stage 3 metastatic melanoma. By the time he got diagnosed it had already spread to his lymph nodes. He has had 5 surgical procedures, 3 different kinds of chemo and treatments to try to make his immune system work better. He now has a large mass in his lower left groin area that goes up to his lower stomach. They can't operate and take it out so they have him on a treatment called keytruda infusions once every 3 weeks. He developed phemonia and has had it for the past 4 weeks, he just can't seem to get rid of it. So, they had to stop treatments for now. His immune system is working very well. He hasn't been able to work for two yrs now and is struggleing just to get by and pay monthly bills. He has to go to Columbus several times a week which is an hour away from where he lives. Gas money is a hardship for him. His family has helped him so much since this beginning  but they have families of their own to take care of. Todd has four kids and a grand daughter. Todd and CeCile has been married for 29yrs. Cancer is unrelenting, unpredictable and tries to destroy everything and everyone around you but he doesn't let that happen. He is the most positive person and takes it one day at a time but right now, it's so hard for him to do that because he hates not being able to provide for his family.
