House Party Concert Pop Up

Along with my band mates in East Bay Soul we performed 39 FB LIVE House Party Concerts in My Living Room during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Like most, we will never forget the lockdown that started on March 13, 2020. We started these concerts to keep our sanity, keep the band together and to keep connected to our fans, friends and family. It Worked! We did these concerts on Friday evenings that started at 5:30PM Live. What made our concerts Uniquely Different is that we actually performed together, no music tracks! We started off small with just with a hand held iPhone! We found that large groups of viewers worldwide tuned in on the East Bay Soul FB Page every Friday night! It became a thing to do... our fans planned a cocktail hour, had dinner during the shows, made comments live, donated to the Band Members Assistance Fund, sent food, wine and checks to help fund the dinners that our manager Andrea would make for the band after the FB Live Shows. As we continued, we brought in lights, microphones, a sound system, our recording engineer! We actually created a performance lounge in my living room! The best thing that happened was the feedback we received on how grateful everyone was to connect together through Our Live Music and we were so grateful to have had this opportunity to perform! Our FB Live House Party Concerts went on for 17 months! Our last concert was Sept 13, 2021. To say we were Filled With Gratitude is an understatement! Through the Band Members Assistance Fund, the fund raised over $33,000! All funds went to the band!

For 2024 we thought it would be great to bring back in the spirit of the original House Party Concerts with our New House Party Concert Pop Up and bring the community we built back together!
