Ballard Ultimate to National Invite
Donation protected
We are the Ballard High School Girls Ultimate team also known as BUF (Ballard Ultimate Family) and for the first time ever, we have been invited to participate in the 2019 High School National Invite Tournament in Rockford, IL on June 7th and 8th this year.
Why should you support us?
We are fully self-funded and need to raise all of the money necessary to travel and participate in this tournament. We are a club sport and are not funded through our high school or through the Seattle School District. Players must pay and raise money to participate during the season to cover costs for coaches, field rentals, equipment, tournaments and other expenses.
Why is Ultimate unique?
We really strive to live up to the Spirit Of The Game which is unique to Ultimate apart from other competitive team sports. You can find out more about Spirit of the Game here - https://www.usaultimate.org/about/ultimate/spirit_of_the_game.aspx
With a culture of fair play and mutual respect, our players must work things out on the field without a referee and learn how to successfully come to an agreement with the other team. This promotes a sense of empowerment and the desire to come to an agreed resolution to our differences and issues. We are a fun-loving, hard working and close-knit group of players that is more like a family than a team. Please help us reach our goal of going to our first ever out-of-state travel tournament. Thank you!!
All funds donated will go through the Ballard Athletic Booster Club which is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to benefit all of Ballard High School Athletics. Funds donated to the Ballard ABC through this page will go directly to pay toward the Ballard Girls Ultimate team expenses for this tournament. Thank you for your donation!!!
