The Bryan Foundation is a family-led foundation rooted in Jamaican identity, lived experience, and a deep commitment to helping children and families with limited access to basic resources.
For the last few years, our family has supported children, families, loved ones, and community organizations in underserved areas in Jamaica. This work is personal to us. It comes from where we are from, who raised us, and what we believe every child deserves: dignity, encouragement, and the tools to keep learning.
This year, we are preparing for The Bryan Foundation Back-to-School Blessing in Jamaica before school reopens. Our goal is to provide backpacks, notebooks, pens, paper, rulers, socks, water bottles, and other school essentials to approximately 100 children.
To get the supplies there on time, we need to raise $3,300 by June 16 so we can pack and ship six barrels from the United States to Jamaica by June 30. The goal includes the core $3,000 shipping and supply need, plus a small cushion for GoFundMe transaction fees and related costs.
Your support will help us send more than supplies. It will help a child begin the school year feeling prepared, remembered, and encouraged.
A backpack is not just a backpack. For many children, it is a sign that someone thought of them before the school year began. It tells a child: you matter, you are seen, and we believe in your future.
Sponsor levels:
$50 sponsors one child/backpack.
$100 sponsors one day of the campaign.
$500 sponsors half a barrel.
$1,000 sponsors one full barrel.
Every donation and every share helps us move closer to shipping these barrels on time. Thank you for helping us bring hope and build a legacy, one child at a time.
