About Baby Marvin
As you may know, baby Marvin was due September 9th, 2016, but decided that he wanted to come into this world 4 months early at 24 weeks old on May 21st at 7:13 pm weighing in at 1 lb 5.5 ounces. Maybe he heard about how awesome the summers are here! Marvin is a tough little guy but it's been a long and bumpy road for this little fighter. Less than you might think is known about premature infant prognoses in these circumstances but the one consistent trend is infants do best the more involved their parents are. This fundraiser is to help with the extended time off of work his Mom needs to stay at Marvin's side while he keeps showing up to fight these odds. The doctors are saying "plan on leaving around 4 months from his birthday” which means despite how far he's come already, Marvin has a long road ahead of him before he gets to go home.
