Emmalee Mosley was born to Brian and Jennifer Mosley at the end of July 2016.  Emmalee has been in the hospital a long time now and Mom and Dad are struggling in many ways.  Their son, Clark, is living with Brian's parents and they miss him terribly.  Brian isn't working right now and is staying with Emmalee in the hospital during the day.  Jen is working during the day and staying with her at night.  Finances are an issue, as well as the obstacles they are about to face with being in Michigan for 2-3 months. 

 Here is their story:
 We discovered in mid August that Emmalee's entire airway was under developed, she has been hospitalized ever since. She has undergone two surgeries that were thought would help her, but haven't helped her enough. She is still having episodes of air trapping and turning blue. We have decided to transfer her to another children's hospital in Michigan for an additional surgery that has only been performed on seven children and only available there. It will be a long process and she will be there for about two months. She will be there for about three weeks before surgery, while they do some tests and scans. They will then take that information and use biodegradable material and a 3D printer to make splints to surgically attach to her airway. She will then be there about another month before she's stable enough to be transferred back here. We will be leaving our son behind because we will have no place to care for him there.
