Baby Milo, 1.5 years old, is currently at Children's hospital icu in Minneapolis. he has been here since Sunday, August 18th, 2024.

He is fighting full kidney failure. They did surgery yesterday to put in a dialysis port into his tummy and gave him a platelet transfusion. that all went well. they will begin dialysis at about 4 o'clock today. they will begin with a continuous 24 hour dialysis. He is on a ventilator and sedated, so right now he is comfy. He briefly wakes up every so often so we get to say hello to him! he's a trooper!

He was flown here from staples hospital in critical condition. This started with an e coli infection which quickly turned into hus.

which has quickly caused the kidney failure. He is in great hands here at Children's, he has an incredible team of doctors.

we would be so very thankful for any donations, no matter the amount. They are anticipating at least 4 weeks of being here at Children's. Donations will go to family expenses while being in the hospital, travel expenses, food, etc. it's going to be a long road! if you cannot donate, we get it totally!!! prayers help immensely also!!
