Dear Facebook Family and Friends,
Thank you ALL so much for your wonderful prayers and support during this tumultuous time. For those who do not know our circumstances, my wife and I found out that our first baby girl passed away in utero late last week. My wife was 7 and a half months pregnant as we prepared to begin our journey into parenthood. The news absolutely devastated us and has left us heart broken, to say the least. To make matter worse, because of us being at 29 weeks of pregnancy, vaginal delivery was the only option.
As parents we do our best to have a plan of action and protect our children, however no one can ever be prepared for this. We were fully prepared and planned to have a home birth and did not consider a hospital birth. But because of the severity of the situation, a hospital birth was the only option to make sure my wife was able to come home healthy and, God willing, have more babies one day. My wife and I come to you humbly and ask for all of your continuous prayers, but we are also needing help in covering our rising medical expenses. Our medical plan covers us for major catastrophic...but not for labor and delivery.
As a man it is difficult in creating this type of letter as I do our best in providing for my family, but our daughter Graycyn Ru Gutierrez had such an impact on this world-and we come to you humbly for help.
