Baby Enzo's Eye Cancer Treatment & Recovery

Hi I'm Enzo, an 11-month-old, awesome little man, who's facing a tough battle against retinoblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of eye cancer. I'm a warrior and will be fighting with all my might, but I really need your help to overcome this challenging hurdle.

I didn't know and neither did my Mommy or Daddy, but retinoblastoma is a merciless disease that primarily affects infants and toddlers, like me, with symptoms often going unnoticed until the cancer has advanced. In my case, the cancer was discovered in its early stages, which will give me a fighting chance, but the road ahead is long and costly.

My intensive treatment plan includes chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and possibly surgery, all of which come with staggering medical expenses. The financial burden of fighting cancer should be the least of the worries for my parents, but unfortunately, it's a harsh reality they now have to face every day.

Here are some startling statistics about retinoblastoma and its treatment:

Retinoblastoma is the most common eye cancer in children, however, it is very rare. There are 3.4 million babies born in the USA annually and of those, only 300 cases are reported.

Worldwide, of the 134 million live births, less than 9,000 cases are diagnosed.

The cost of treating retinoblastoma can easily exceed tens of thousands of dollars, especially when considering there are ZERO doctors in Arizona and I have to travel every month to Wisconsin Children's Hospital to meet with my doctor and get the specialized care I desperately need.

For children like me, early detection and intervention are crucial for improving survival rates and preserving vision. I'm hoping my treatment can save my vision.
