Support Baby Easton Jude

Hi everyone, I am leading this fundraiser on behalf of Mark and Ashleigh Stevens for their little miracle, Easton Jude.

Mark and Ashleigh were very excited to welcome their first son at the end of April. In early January, Ashleigh had a very sudden and unexpected labour requiring her to be rushed to a Hospital in Toronto for the best care. Within 1 week, on January 11th, Baby Easton came into the world (3+ months early) at 1lb 13oz. Easton needed immediate premature care and was brought to the NICU. After just 2 days, he progressed from the ventilation machine to the CPap machine! Although he is a fighter, some serious medical concerns have arisen that will likely extend his stay beyond his due date. Easton still needs constant care, testing/ monitoring and will remain in the NICU for an indefinite period of time. His parents will be by his side for the journey until they can bring him home.

That all being said, I was hoping to find a way to help Ashleigh, Mark and Easton with their long road ahead. Any funds received will be helping the family with the following struggles:

• Both Ashleigh and Mark are off work caring for Easton for the next few months, although regular monthly financial obligations will continue to come.

• They are currently living a long ways from home at the Toronto Hospital, and although are fortunate to have a family member close by to shower, etc, they are basically going to and from the NICU for medical updates and monitoring of Easton most of each day.

• With 15+ weeks left in Ashleigh’s pregnancy, they were not prepared for Easton’s very early arrival in the slightest.

Any and all support is so greatly appreciated by the family, but above all else, please continue to keep our sweet boy and his mom and dad in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this challenging journey.
