Levi Counts&Kaci Torgerson Counts baby health fund

At Levi and Kaci’s 20 week ultrasound, they received news that no expectant parent is prepared for. There was a problem. A problem both Livingston and Bozeman decided would require the care of a more specialized team.

They were referred to Denver where they were given a tentative diagnosis of an abnormality in the baby’s brain. The definitive diagnosis can’t be verified until their baby’s birth, where a more in depth examination and extensive monitoring can be done.

Levi and Kaci were given a wide range of expected outcomes and while the doctors remain cautiously optimistic, the extent of their medical care remains uncertain. Levi and Kaci must also anticipate unexpected time off work for travel between Montana and Colorado, and impending medical expenses due to Denver being out of their covered network.
