Please take the time to read our story. My husband is the main bread winner in our family, loving father, and best husband I could ever ask for. He was recently sent to the Emergency room with a very high fever for days, trouble breathing, chest pain and many, many more symptoms. He is now being hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at University Hospital. He has been under heavy watch for a while now and they still have no idea what is causing his condition , despite the fact that they are continuously testing him for every virus or disease possible and have a whole team of doctors. His heart is inflamed, he has growths around the valves of the heart and his heart is not working as it should be. His heart rate has been extremely high and fever has yet to break. He is stuck in the bed, has all kinds of IVs , monitors and even a catheter in his neck. He does not communicate much and is in a lot of pain constantly.
We have two kids under the age of 4 years old and I am currently 6 months pregnant with our 3rd child. The fact that my husband has been out of work for a while and I have been staying with him to help take care of him everyday is putting us way behind on our bills (2 cars, house, daycare, etc, etc. ). He will most likely be hospitalize for a while longer because we still have no idea what's wrong with him or what surgeries or procedures he may need. The high medical bills after all of this will be something way out of reach for us financially. That's why I'm asking for help from our family and friends. If you can donate that would mean the world to me and my family, and take stress away from an extremely traumatic time in our lives.
