Kicking the "C" in the butt

 At some point, most of us will have a conversation with a close friend who has been diagnosed with cancer. You’ll want to be there to help. This is our way of helping and we are asking you to help lessen the worry. Most people never think of the financial strain a cancer diagnosis brings. That being said, please help with the financial and emotional burden the disease often causes.

If you have ever met Kelly, you know she is amazing! She is genuinely selfless and we are honored to call her family and friend. She has always been dedicated to helping others, always willing to stop what she's doing to help fix a computer, take care of an animal, care for a child, write a resume, give advice or share a cup of coffee, the list goes on. She's truly remarkable and is as loyal as they come. So it was devastating for us to learn that she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. She has found courage to face the reality of breast cancer and she is willing to fight like a girl, through strength, perseverance and a little coffee. She's the mom to 3 fur babies, a duck, a pony, a horse and she has helped mother so many of us. She works full time not one but two jobs and now she's made to add a 3rd, the job of fighting to survive. She is a rock to our family, an incredible strong and fierce woman, we truly want her to be able to focus on kicking the "C" in the butt!! Eliminating the financial burden will help her succeed.

Even though she has insurance, the out of pocket expenses are staggering. Knowing she would never ask for help, we can't sit back and allow her to face this challenge by herself.

Whether you’re able to provide monetary support or positive thoughts and prayer, nothing will go unnoticed and every bit is important. Remember from the day a cancer patient is diagnosed, they become a SURVIVOR. Your friendship, love, and support will truly be a blessing.
