On January 6th, our lives were turned upside down when Wilver was detained by ICE. The arrest was traumatic, excessive force was used, leaving Wilver with injuries to his leg and hip. Since then, he has been held in detention, and his wife has had to take on the role of sole provider for their three young children. The emotional and financial strain on the family has been overwhelming, as they try to navigate this difficult and uncertain time.
