Kidney transplant for Noah
Donation protected
Lupus and kidney disease affects many of ppl all over the world, this is something I've never thought twice about before February 16, 2011. I was diagnosed with lupus (SLE) that lead to end stage renal disease (ESRD) and congestive heart failure. I was in the hospital for a month and underwent blood transfusions, plasmapheresis, chemotherapy for 6 months and dialysis for a year and now I'm back on dialysis & will more than likely continue until I can receive a transplant. I've been on disability since I got ill and it's not clear when my heart will progress enough for me to get back to work so I can take care of my medical bills. That brings me to the reason for this site. The cost of a kidney is $75,000 NOT including the medicines I will start and have to continue taking. The first year alone should cost around $5,000 or more, so I'll be setting my fundraising goal there to get me started. I'm asking that everyone take a minute to consider contributing to my fundraiser to help with these bills and a transplant. Every bit is greatly appreciatedIt will go a long way in allowing me reach my goal. I'm still learning about these diseases myself but to give those of you interested some information I have posted some links that you can visit. Please share this information. Again thanks for taking the time to read this post & those of you who could help out I appreciate you generosity.
