Our thoughts are with our colleagues and their families in and around the surrounding area of Southeast Texas.
AZZ Inc. is a Fort Worth, Texas based company. We are a global provider of hot dip galvanizing services as well as welding solutions, speciality electrical equipment, and highly engineered services to the power generation, transmission, distribution and industrial markets.
This account has been established by our CEO, Tom Ferguson, to assist the AZZ employees affected by Hurricane Harvey. More specifically, this includes the employees at: AZZ Lighting Systems, AZZ Galvanizing - Houston, AZZ Galvanizing - Houston West, and AZZ Galvanizing - Beaumont. In total, AZZ has more than 250 affected employees and their families.
The outpouring of support from our employees, customers, suppliers and distributors has been tremendous. They want to support their colleagues impacted by this tragedy. This site has been created to help make that possible. All donations will be matched by AZZ Inc. up to $100,000, and the collective funds raised will be dispersed to employees identified by our internal team as affected by Hurricane Harvey. The funds will be used to assist AZZ employees in rebuilding their lives. Participation in this fund raising effort is purely voluntary. The decision to contribute (or choice not to) will not in any way impact employees’ employment, nor any purchasing/contract decisions.
