Hoy necesitamos unirnos por una familia que nos necesita

Queremos pedir tu apoyo para una familia muy querida en nuestra comunidad, que está atravesando uno de los momentos más difíciles de su vida.

El papá de uno de los compañeritos de nuestro hijo fue recientemente arrestado por ICE. Gracias a Dios ya se encuentra en libertad, pero para lograrlo tuvieron que pagar una fianza extremadamente alta, dejando a la familia en una situación económica muy complicada.

Él es el principal sostén de su hogar. Debido a todo lo ocurrido, perdió su empleo y ahora enfrentan no solo la deuda de la fianza, sino también gastos legales, renta, comida y muchas otras responsabilidades que siguen acumulándose. Su esposa, por la misma situación migratoria, tampoco puede salir a trabajar, lo que hace que este momento sea aún más angustiante para ellos.

Este hombre es un buen esposo y un padre dedicado. Vino a este país con la esperanza de ofrecerle una vida mejor a su familia, huyendo de la falta de empleo, de la delincuencia y del miedo constante que se vive en la ciudad donde antes residían. Aquí se ha dedicado a trabajar arduamente, a cuidar de su hogar y a estar presente en cada actividad extracurricular de su hijo. Ha pagado sus impuestos y no tiene récord criminal. Es un hombre trabajador, responsable y comprometido con su familia.

Hoy no pedimos solo una donación. Pedimos solidaridad. Pedimos que como comunidad extendamos la mano para que esta familia pueda salir adelante, cubrir sus gastos legales, mantener un techo sobre sus cabezas y poner comida en su mesa mientras logran estabilizar su situación.

Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, hace una gran diferencia. Y si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña también es una forma muy valiosa de ayudar.

Today We Ask You to Stand With a Family in Need

We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support for a family in our community who is going through one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

The father of one of our son’s classmates was recently arrested by ICE. Thankfully, he has now been released, but in order to secure his freedom, the family had to pay an extremely high bond. This has left them in a devastating financial situation.

He is the sole provider for his household. Because of everything that happened, he lost his job. Now the family is facing overwhelming expenses — legal fees, rent, food, basic necessities — all while carrying the heavy burden of the bond they had to pay. Due to their immigration situation, his wife is also unable to work, making this an even more frightening and uncertain time for them.

This man is a devoted husband and a loving, present father. He came to this country with the hope of giving his family a better life, fleeing the lack of opportunity, crime, and constant fear in the city they once called home. Since arriving here, he has worked hard, paid his taxes, stayed out of trouble, and dedicated himself to his family. He has been actively involved in his son’s extracurricular activities and has always put his family first.

Today, we are not just asking for donations. We are asking for compassion. We are asking our community to come together and help this family stay afloat during this incredibly challenging time — to help them cover legal expenses, keep a roof over their heads, and put food on the table while they work to rebuild their stability.
