Este hermoso niño de 7 años se llama Dallonel Bourdierd y necesita de nosotros. El pasado 11 de enero, Dallonel jugaba con sus amiguitos en los alrededores de su vivienda en Medina, La Altagracia, cuando un tendido eléctrico le colapsó encima causándole quemaduras en un 50% de su cuerpo y la pérdida de su pierna izquierda.
Luego de estar ingresado durante más de dos semanas en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) del hospital Infantil Robert Reid Cabral, fue trasladado a una sala donde tendrá que permanecer alrededor de tres o cuatro meses en lo que se recupera de las quemaduras y completa su tratamiento. Ahora mismo los Médicos están luchando para salvarle la pierna derecha y las manos a Dallonel con unas terapias especiales (VAC).
Dallonel está presentando fallo renal y ha necesitado diálisis desde el Sábado pasado, 20 de Febrero. Adicionalmente, lleva ya 5 transfusiones de sangre, tiene dos bacterias (una que ya esta cediendo gracias a Dios), un hongo y también tiene COVID-19. Esta estable, pero delicado. Sigamos orando por él.
La Familia de Dallonel no tiene como enfrentar estos gastos médicos y nos piden nuestra ayuda. Ayudemos a Dallonel salir adelante con nuestras donaciones. Cualquier cantidad hace la diferencia.
Yo me llamo Maria Laura Viñas, soy Dominicana/Americana y conozco a Dallonel a través de la niñera de mis hijos. Me conmoví mucho por lo sucedido y quise ayudarlo a través de esta campaña. El 100% de los fondos recaudados serán depositados directamente por mí a la cuenta de Dallany Boudierd, la Mamá de Dallonel, en el Banco de Reservas. Dallany no tiene correo electrónico ni tiene como iniciar ella misma esta campaña por lo que yo tomé la iniciativa con el único proposito de ver a Dallonel salir adelante.
This beautiful 7-year-old boy is Dallonel Bourdierd, and he needs our help. On January 11th while Dallonel was playing with his friends in Medina, La Altagracia, a rural town in the Dominican Republic, a power line collapsed on him causing serious burns on over 50% of Dallonel’s body as well as the loss of his left leg.
After being in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for over two weeks, he has been moved to recovery where he will have to stay for the next three or four months while he continues to get medical attention. He needs special therapy so that his hands and right leg will not be amputated as well as more treatment for the burns.
Dallonel started presenting kidney failure and has been on dialysis since last Saturday. He has needed 5 blood transfusions, has caught two different bacteria (luckily one has responded to treatment), a fungus infection and also has COVID-19. He is now stable, but in critical condition. Please your prayers.
Dallonel’s Family needs our help with the vast Medicall bills and lengthy treatment that lies ahead in order to recuperate fully. Please help the Bourdierd’s with your donation, however small it will surely make a difference to Dallonel.
My name is Maria Vinas, I am an American/Dominican citizen who knows Dallonel through my kids' day caregiver, who is Dallonel's aunt. As Dallonel's mother, Dallany Boudierd, does not have an email address or access to the Internet, I decided to help her raise money for her child's much needed medical attention. I am making sure that 100% of the proceeds from this Campaign will be deposited directly into Dallany's account in the Dominican Bank Banco de Reservas. My only interest regarding this Campaign is to help this boy get his life back.
