Atlantis Project Fellowship

Dear Family and Friends,
As some of you know, I am a biochemistry major at Spring Hill College, and I am pursuing a career in medicine. The road to medical school has and will be very difficult and takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Not only is it important to be committed to education, but also it is important to receive unique experiences to set yourself apart from other candidates.
I was recently accepted to the Atlantis Project in Milan, Italy, for five weeks in the Summer of 2018. The Atlantis Project allows pre-health and pre-medical students the opportunity to travel to a country in South America or Europe to shadow a variety of doctors and explore the country. This program grants extensive experience shadowing doctors which is necessary for applying to medical school. Although shadowing experience is expected for pre-medical students, it is quite difficult to find and shadow doctors here in the United States. The Atlantis Project guarantees shadowing experience with a variety of doctors in order to experience a few specialties. Other than shadowing, this experience would provide an opportunity to travel abroad, learn about a new country, and experience their culture.
Thank you so much for reading about my story and for showing interest in this once in a lifetime opportunity. Please let me know if you would like any further information on my journey to being a physician or the Atlantis Project. I am hoping you would contribute on my journey either by financial donation or support of my endeavors. Any help is greatly appreciated!
