This fundraiser was originally set to raise money to help a couple of stray cats I was taking care of due to the ongoing backlogs that rescues experience.

Since we first launched this endeavor, we have experienced the loss of one of our own indoor cats, Katie.

While attempting to help her survive, a loan was taken out.

Unfortunately, it was not fast enough and we held her in our arms while she passed.

In her honour, the leftover funds were left with our vet for access to future use, to help the ferals and strays that fall through the cracks, given the overwhelming numbers of cats in need of help.

These funds have been used for emergency care for these animals, allowing for access to examinations, vaccines, deworming measures and what may come.

We call this "The Katie Fund" to keep her spirit alive.

To record, we have saved 17 cats, so far; all getting the emergency attention they required.

And, returned almost 3 dozen lost and strayed cats to their families along the way.

This fundraising campaign will be left open for anyone interested in contributing, whatever they may.

The money is directed to an account set up with our vet to ensure all these contributions go directly to that purpose and nothing more.

For privacy reasons, I will not post the name of our Vet or the clinic. I will absolutely share information in private with anyone wanting to know, for that insurance, that this is a legitimate mission.

This mission is for these awesome critters who exist in a world we created for them. They are the reason why we care.
