Nuestra familia compró la tierra en la década de 1970. Era una finca que mis padres iniciaron hace muchos años y que generó empleo para la gente de la zona. Por causas de salud el proyecto se abandono hace casi 40 años. Aunque la finca quedó inactiva, continuamos pagando los impuestos y demás obligaciones.

En 2022 nos enteramos de que invasores estaban vendiendo lotes dentro de nuestra propiedad. Por ello seguimos el debido proceso y notificamos a las autoridades competentes y a la población de la región para evitar que fueran estafados. Desde entonces hemos sostenido nuestra lucha, pero estamos llegando al punto en que necesitamos mejores abogados, ya que esos ladrones siguen vendiendo e incluso construyendo en nuestra tierra sin que nadie los detenga.

Our land was bought by our family in 1970s. The land was a farm my parents started many years ago and gave jobs to local people. Sickness caused to abandon the project almost 40 years ago. While the land became inactive taxes and other dues were paid. In 2022 we learned invaders were selling lots in our land. So we follow the due process and notified the respective authorities and the people in the region to avoid being scammed. Since then we have supported our fight, but it is getting to a point were we need better lawyers to really win this fight as these thieves are still selling and now building on our land with no one to stop them.
