Hey friends... this family needs some monetary help!!!!
My name is Jeremy Roeder. I have a small accounting/bookkeeping/income tax company in Marion, AR. Our secretary, Donna Harris's son, Jason Arwood, was working on the 2nd story of a building in downtown Memphis, TN and he fell through the roof and dropped about 18 feet, broke his hip, and messed up a lot of other stuff internally. It was a miracle that he survived the fall. That was about 22 days ago. He has been bed ridden since the fall between the hospital and his home. He went into the doctor yesterday and had to go to the Med for emergency surgery to remove his spleen. There was a psuedo-annureism, a large hematoma on his side and it also tore the hernia surgery that he had a while back. Basically they had to open up his stomach, remove all of his abdominal organs in order to remove the spleen and repair the annureism. If it would have ruptured he would have been dead in minutes because he was on blood thinner from the hip fracture surgery he had as a result of the fall. Currently, he is in bad shape at the Med, level one trauma center in Memphis, TN. Before the accident, he worked in construction, but since he cannot work, they have little income coming in to pay bills and keep their home up. He takes care of his wife, 3 kids and his mom, financially. He is basically immobile until his body heals and will now be out of work around 2-3 months. Donna and his wife, Tina, are having to give round the clock care. Moving a 400lb man is difficult at best. I never ask for handouts, but this family needs it very much.
