My name is Julia, an art teacher with 30+ years experience in education, and I am fundraising so I can buy great art supplies to start teaching on Kibbutz Nir Oz . Many years ago, I lived in this beautiful kibbutz community. I left in the 1990s, but have recently returned to use my educational experience to help support the people who lost their homes on October 7, as best I can- through what I think I do best: teaching art! I would love to come through with awesome supplies and get things rolling. My goal is to set up art classes for the whole community: the children, youth, adults and elders. I would like to raise some seed funds to get the supplies needed to start the magic of doing art with this resilient and amazing group of people.
