Hello, my name is Kamal and I am raising funds for Arslan's mother, Nusra, who has suffered a severe traumatic burst fracture and anterior wedging of the L2 vertebral body with multi-disc damage and is in need of a major surgery quickly; otherwise, she will be completely paralyzed.
Here are some words from Arslan:
Today, I'm writing to you as a helpless son, deeply worried for his mother's life and seeking your kindness and compassion in one of the most painful moments of my life.
My beloved mother, who is 48 years old, suffered a devastating fall from the first floor to the ground floor that caused a serious spinal injury.
The MRI results revealed a burst fracture in her lower spine (L2 vertebra), with internal bleeding, nerve compression, and spinal cord pressure. As you can read the full condition in the MRI report and see in X-rays and MRI film.
The doctors have made it clear: this is a critical condition. If she does not undergo emergency spinal surgery, there is a very high chance that she could become completely and permanently paralyzed.
As of now, she cannot move her left leg at all. Her condition is deteriorating day by day, and as her son, it is unbearable to witness her suffering, unable to move, in pain, and at risk of losing her mobility forever.
The urgency of the situation weighs heavily on our hearts. According to the doctors, every passing day increases the risk of permanent damage. Immediate surgery is the only hope we have to give her a chance at recovery and a normal life again.
Unfortunately, in Pakistan, advanced and reliable medical care, especially for such a sensitive spinal surgery, is only available in private hospitals.
Public hospitals do not have the proper equipment or specialist surgeons for such a complicated case. We’ve been advised by doctors to shift her to a bigger city, where a highly qualified spinal surgeon can perform the operation.
However, this comes with a significant cost, and the breakdown of the treatment process is extensive.
Here is what the doctors have informed us she will need:
Emergency spinal surgery to stabilize the fractured vertebrae
ICU admission and hospital stay for up to 30 days, depending on recovery
Use of advanced machines and medical devices post-surgery for stabilization
Daily medical tests, imaging, and continuous monitoring
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation to regain movement and strength after surgery.
I am asking you today to support Nusra, Arslan's mother, with your lovely donation of $25 or more, perhaps $100, or $1,000 to avoid such a tragedy. Every contribution helps, and we depend on you.
Thank you for your kindness. Please share this message on your social channel, and you can make a difference.
Final note from Arslan:
I am emotionally shattered and deeply anxious. Watching my mother helpless, in pain, unable to walk, and knowing that treatment exists but is just out of reach because of money is the most painful feeling I’ve ever experienced.
I would never make such a request if the situation weren’t this urgent and critical.
So today, I am reaching out to you with a heart full of hope, asking for your support. If you can contribute $20, $50, or any amount, it will truly make a difference.
Your generosity could help give my mother a second chance at life, movement, and freedom from pain.
Even if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this message with someone who might be able to help. Sometimes, a small act of kindness can save a life.
May Allah bless you for reading this, for feeling our pain, and for any support you are able to offer. May you and your loved ones always stay healthy, safe, and surrounded by mercy.
With deep prayers,
