Holy guacamole, I need so much help!!!
I'm Ari Rivera. I'm a 27-year-old disabled Puerto Rican trans woman. In the past month, I've had my van towed to a lot by the police, my computer broken after I dropped it (tic disorder), and my disability payments abruptly cut off by a government agency.
I'm raising funds because I don't have the $1,500 to get my van back and fixed. I don't have the $100 to fix my computer. I don't have $1400 to replace the supplemental income I was supposed to receive to cover rent, utilities, and my medical costs.
I always work hard to pay my bills and donate to others in need. It's impossible for me to come up with all this money on my own. How do I make rent for next month? Even if I'm homeless again, I have no van to sleep in!
I'm asking my community for financial support. I regret asking for help. I have my pride too and I'm deeply sorry I haven't figured it out by myself. I can't count on family members. They're either literally recovering in Puerto Rico or not a big fan of my transition.
