Antoaneta's Alternative Cancer Treatment

Hi my name is Kenny Donkor, I am trying to raise funds of £30,000 to help pay for alternative cancer treatment for my mother Antoaneta Donkor.

The funds are to help pay for the treatment costs and accommodation we are still doing research to decide which treatment and where it will take place, there are a few clinics we have been in contact with from Germany and Spain.

In May 2019 my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. After an operation and treatments of chemotherapy everything had seemed fine until August 2021.

My mother collapsed and suffered from a seizure. She was admitted to hospital where doctors done various scans and blood tests to discover lesions had formed on the brain and showed signs of metastases. The next step was to do radiotherapy to try and shrink the lesions, this showed promising signs until December of this year. My mother had been complaining to the doctors of feeling dizzy everytime she stands up from a seated position and also started to loose loss of hearing. After several scans and test the doctors diagnosed my mother with Leptomeningeal Disease which is cancer in the lining of the brain.

The only option from the NHS is radiotherapy to the whole brain but this can have very negative effects that can compromise her quality of life. This is why we are looking to try non evasive alternative treatment as we do not want to risk doing further damage and to try and improve my mothers quality of life.
