Anti-racism Series & Advocacy Funds

The Medical and Science Coalition for Activism (MSCA) is a network of students and trainees from several biomedical research institutions in the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Led by trainees from marginalized communities, and supported by actionable allies, the MSCA advocates for marginalized groups and is  committed to promoting social justice, anti-racism, and a more diverse and inclusive environment in our science and healthcare communities. 

We encourage any student/trainee groups and allies who are committed to our social justice and equity values to join our network. We encourage faculty, staff, and administration to support our network to promote inter-institutional collaboration between students and trainees. 

The funds raised here will support sustainable changes being implemented by our group and will go towards speaker honorariums, events such as educational seminars, advocacy efforts, and also towards communities in need.
