Our daughter, Annika, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia this month and put immediately in hospital for chemo. She is making slow progress. Annika is in graduate school in Edinburgh, Scotland, and we live in Virginia, USA. My wife flew to Scotland the day Annika went to hospital and is staying with generous friends of Annika's. We are racking up expenses, though, and expect to have to pay for several flights back & forth to share time with her during her treatments over the next several months because she cannot travel. We may also have to send our son over as the bone marrow donor or pay for a medical courier. These expenses that are well beyond our budget, and we have no idea how long the situation will last. We will donate any excess funds we get from GoFundMe to Maggies Centres cancer support in Edinburgh and to leukemia charities. We appreciate any help you can give us. Thank you!
