Hi my name is Melanie Beland.

We recently lost my sister after her long and painful battle with terminal cancer. She was a fighter with a gentle heart, someone who loved deeply and never stopped caring for the people around her. Our family is heartbroken, and as we prepare to honor her life, we want to give her the memorial she truly deserves.

My mom has been carrying this weight almost entirely on her own—emotionally and financially. She’s grieving her child while trying to manage the cost of the service, and it has become more than she can handle alone. We need to raise $1100 to cover the memorial expenses and give my sister a peaceful, dignified farewell.
