Hello dear ones from near and far,

We are setting up this $upport fund for cherished artist, community member, and single mama, Angelica Rockne. She is in immediate need of our collective support after being the victim of a domestic violence incident, which has now resulted in a frightening and overwhelming legal situation. This is a stressful situation on its own, but extra taxing currently as Angelica is in the midst of attending school full time—working towards a LMFT career path to support herself and her daughter.

Anyone who knows Angelica has experienced firsthand how much care and devotion she pours into her daughter's upbringing, yet her character also spreads beyond that very important role. She has been a working recording artist and songwriter for the past 15 years, offering countless evenings of serenades to her local community and beyond. She has toured the USA multiple times, and also the UK, with her last album receiving enthusiastic praise from many revered publications.

Since becoming a mother 5 years ago, she has stayed dedicated to her musical path but has also started farming in the Nevada County area to find grounding, healing through plants, and service in being part of supplying the local community with healthy organic fruits and veggies. She moves with grace and care in all she does, and this feels like a very vulnerable share and ask for her right now, so we hope you will also move with active compassion and find what you can to support this cause at this time.

This Go Fund Me page was made to help Angelica prioritize her daughter’s well being and safety, as well as her own peace of mind, as they navigate this extremely difficult period. Angelica’s partner of almost two years, family and friends are doing all we can to support, and now we are needing to cast a wider net.

The money raised here will be going toward Angelica’s attorneys retainer fee, which is $6,000, There has been an extra $1,000 tacked on, in hopes we can raise a bit more to help cushion things, given the added stressors of this intense time.
