Andrew's Medical Expenses

On Wed 11/8/17, around 9:09 pm, my brother was hit by another driver and thrown from his motorcycle onto the Arlington Expressway. He is unable to speak for himself as he is currently unconscious and in critical condition in ICU. He is on a ventilator with extensive brain damage, bleeding in all portions of his brain, an ICP monitor, two collapsed lungs, a broke rib, a broken collar bone and multiple lacerations to his head & face. That being said, he was not expected to make it through the night- but here he is...still fighting! It is still a "waiting game" on IF (or how) he will make it through this. It's still too soon for a prognosis, as this is going to be a VERYYYY long road, at best.

Andrew is a 23 year old with the biggest heart and the sweetest smile! He is a charming, adventurous, funny, kind, God-fearing young man. He is also a loving son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew & uncle! He was full of dreams & ambitions and was about to start his journey in the military, serving our country! ❤️

It took a lot of consideration on creating a fundraiser. Normally, we are not ones to ask for anything. In this case, we decided we have to. Andrew's medical bills are  accumulating quickly, and there is only more where that came from. If he survives from this, he is guaranteed to have multiple reoccurring therapies, along with rehabilitation. The party at fault in this accident is trying to cower away from this situation,  which only adds more anxiety and stress to this living nightmare! As you can imagine, going to work isn't even an option right now for my parents! They are currently living in the hospital waiting room and will not be leaving Andrew's side.
