When I was 7 1/2 I was diagnosed with type one diabetes and ever since I’ve wanted a diabetic alert dog. What a diabetic alert dog does is when my blood sugar goes high or low he or she will bark and alert me that I need to fix my sugars. He would be such a great asset for me because not only that he or she would be my best friend it’ll be my second test kit. Now my mom has to wake up at 12 2 4 and 6 am to do my checks and some times I don’t feel my highs and lows. I’m trying to raise the money for my dream to come true.
