A’mya’s procedure

Hello my name is Krystal and I’m doing this go fund to help my sister in law Marcela. She’s a single mother of three children. Her oldest A’mya who is 13 was born with hydrocephalus and spina bifida .A’mya has had some complications throughout life but the last year has been the hardest with so many shunt revisions. She is a very sweet, loving child, that she has an amazing heart and beautiful smile. She brings out the joy in our family.Marcela works at Omni family health as a temp agency and due to being temp does not qualify for child leave or fml. So she’s struggling at the moment with Amya being hospitalized last weekend for a few days due to complications of having chronic constipation and a cyst ruptured in her ovary finding out now that A’mya is going in for a major spine surgery leaving Marcela to lose three weeks of work without pay and on top of having to be out there for 1 week in hospital . A’mya will be going in for a tethered spinal cord surgery. November 17th,2020. This surgery for A’mya is a high risk due to her v-p shunt and all possible complications that can go wrong. My sister in law is not the type of person who asks people for help. She always would find a way but times are rough and with bills, raising three children and having her oldest going through a hard time, I know she would appreciate this help and I know it will help her to the fullest.
