Amy Blythe's Hip Replacement Fund
Spende geschützt
Amy Blythe, our wonderful colleague, has worked in the field of education for thirty-five years. In this time she has taught hundreds of children at the pre-K and elementary levels in Minneapolis and St. Paul. All of these children, especially those with special needs, have benefited from her enthusiastic and encouraging presence.
Amy frequently includes music in her work with children, leading students in song while accompanying them on her guitar. Children who may be struggling academically or socially can express themselves in song, building their self-esteem. Amy's concern for her students' well-being, inside and outside the classroom, is exemplary. She has done so much good for children in the Twin Cities in her lifetime.
After two years of hip pain due to arthritis, Amy will have a medically necessary hip replacement surgery in May of 2022. The costs of taking time off work and the $2,400 deductible on her health insurance present a severe financial obstacle for her.
Please consider contributing financially as you can help Amy meet her medical expenses. Amy would also welcome your kind words on this Go Fund Me page.
Thank you.
