Amputation remodel for home
Donation protected
Our son had a car accident in 1997 and was in a coma and on life support for several weeks and months. In Dec 2017 he suffered several strokes and 3 weeks ago he developed an infection in his left leg which led to having to have his left leg amputated above the knee. We are in need of funds to now make our home handicap accessible. We have to remodel both our downstairs and upstairs bathrooms and put in a chair lift to get him up and down the stairs. Plus we have to install a wheelchair ramp outside our front door for access into our home.
The approximate cost of everything will run close to 20
thousand dollars.
We have depleted ALL of our savings and retirement funds after his car accident.
Our needs will need to be met ASAP as our son is now in rehab in the hospital and will be coming home in 2 weeks.
