AMA'S FUNERAL EXPENSES
Don protégé
On April 4, 2015 heaven gained another angel! Our beloved Ama (Martha Cruz) was a loving mother/father to all five of her children. As well as a grandma/pa, to 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ama was suffering since November 7, 1997 due to kidney failure. She began dyalisis and attened 3 times a week, for 3-4 hours a day. She received a kidney transplant January 20, 2002, unfortuntaly her kidney only lasted her 7 years. In the year of 2005, she fell into a coma and recovered a little more than a week later. Recently, Feburary 19, 2015, Ama was transported into the hospital due to pains in her legs. Soon after her pains escolated, this led to the following complications.
Feburary 27, she was admitted into the intensive care unit. Friday, March 6, she went on life support due to a shortage of breath caused by pneumonia. Friday the 13, she went into surgury for a tracheostomy and also a feeding tube was inserted into her stomach. After that complications continued to worsen. March 27, she started to bleed internally. April 1st, she became unresponsive and her liver began to desinagrate. Toxins started spreading through out her body and there was nothing more our Ama could do. The last organ functioning was her heart! She had the most loving and caring heart. Ama was the heart of the family, who created us all and kept the family together.
She was able to fight a month and a half worth of illnesses. She was such a strong, loving, independent, and caring women. She fought through it all with the intentions of getting well for her family. Unfortunaltly she was taken from us at such a young age. She was able to leave in peace without suffering any longer. Unfortunatly due to funeral expenses being too high, we struggle to pay for the expenses. We except any donations and appreciate any type of help. If you are donating and can possibly give the money upfront that would work out best. Thank you for your time and condolences for this tragic time for our loving family!
