Alyssa started her journey to becoming her authentic self in March of 2019, living full-time shortly thereafter, nearly four decades after trying to fit into an identity that never matched herself.

With the support of her wonderful fiancé, family, two children and amazing friends, she has arrived, healthy and confidently, to the final phase of her journey- GRS. 

Because of insurance only covering a portion of the surgery, and her surgeon being out-of-network, Alyssa is responsible for paying the entire cost of the procedure up front, as well as travel, lodging and extensive time off of work for recovery. Her surgery date is 7/28/2021, which will be here quicker than you might think!
