Our sweet Alphie recently suffered a painful injury from a rough‐housing mishap. While playing with a housemate, he got tangled in their prong collar, leaving him with a large, bleeding wound near his anus. It happened just 3–4 hours before we rushed him to the ER. Alphie is extremely sensitive around the injury, won’t let us inspect it, and the bleeding is ongoing.

Right now, our family is overwhelmed—both emotionally and financially—by this unexpected emergency. Veterinary ER costs can range between $1,500–$5,000 for urgent care alone.
