Christmas for Kids in Puerto Rico

If you don't already know, I am turning 30 this year! I've always been one to celebrate others birthdays, but ever since I was a little girl I have never been one to enjoy my own. I don't know what the connection is or why but its just the way I am. During the past couple of days several people have asked what I’m doing for my birthday. This year has been a really special year with a lot of ups and downs, long nights and days, new friends, a new town, and a new life. But then something really awful happened that breaks my heart... Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico. Since it’s my big 30... I’m asking all my family and friends that instead of spending money on a gift they donate money to the following fundraiser. I am going to Puerto Rico for Christmas and I’m a firm believer in the Three Kings Day (January 6)... I will be buying gifts for kids with families that lost their homes and possessions. Depending on how much we raise... I may even rent a concrete mixer to help people rebuild their homes.
