Alicia Newman a mother and a wife

Alicia Newman was an amazing person, friend, mother to two amazing boys and my wife. My heart hurts so much to have to inform everyone that she has sadly passed on and is no longer with us who love her dearly. Our sons Jacob and Landen just recently experienced their first loss of a loved one with their dog Duke in December. They are still working through the grieving process and learning to cope with the emotions of missing a loved one.Yesterday, I had to tell them that there mommy has passed and now is happy with Duke They are now our Angels in heaven watching down on us and always with us. All of us can't go for long with out crying for her, We miss her so much. She was to young to leave us, we all still need her. Jacob is 10 years old but is so much like his mom, hes determined and has a strong will but a kind heart. Landen is 9 years old and the sweetest little boy you could ever meet and gets that from his mom. Both of them miss her very much and don't understand why she is not with us. My concern for the future of the boys is that they dont have there mother to guide them through the struggles of middleschool and high school. Alicia was a well known Sitka resident, she was born and raised here. Sitka was her home, she loved everything about Sitka. From the sun rise over the ocean, to the long rainy winter days sitka is known for. Her favorite days were the long summer sunny days. She loved the rainy days so she could go puddle jumping with the boys. Her favorite saying was Red sky's in the morning sailors take warning, red sky's at night sailors delight. After her step dad Petri passed she really missed going fishing and camping so much she never got to go camping with us. She was one of the most caring people I've ever met. She was also an amazing wife, there when I needed her most. If it was something simple or something that would take everything out of her, she was devoted to our family. We are in need of help for funeral costs, other expenses for her Celebration of Life, little things for the boys to help them get through these tough times, food, bills while I'm not working, and other expenses that might pop up during the grieving period.
