In memory of Alicia Guajardo

We’re colleagues and friends of Alicia Guajardo and are organizing this GoFundMe page in support of her family.

As many of you know, our friend and colleague Alicia tragically passed away on April 15 after living with lung cancer since 2019. Throughout her treatments, Alicia continued to serve as an important and valued member of the American Red Cross team.

Alicia was an amazing and impactful leader supporting the Red Cross mission, and she truly personified for all of us the ability to be courageous and resilient amidst the setbacks we may face in our lives.

She was also dedicated to suicide prevention and youth mental health through her work with the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Northern Virginia, was a dedicated volunteer at Lucas’ Place Garden, was a great friend to many, and provided unwavering support to her children.

Your financial assistance will support her family as they pay existing medical invoices, household bills and memorial expenses All gifts are transferred directly to her son Antonio's bank account.
