Help Alex Buy Supplies For Her 1st Fashion Show

Hi! So I was accepted into ROSES, a local fashion show here in Tulsa, where I’ll be presenting 3 handmade crochet pieces on June 22nd. I have an entire stash of unusable yarn due to the show being outdoors and we know what the end of June is like in Tulsa… SCORCHING! I’ve been buying a more lightweight yarn and started 2 out of 3 garments but I’m slowly realizing I need a bit of help. I’m buying materials as I can but at this rate my pieces may not get done in time for the show. Help an artist continue to create and showcase her art? This money will be used specifically for yarn, tulle and materials to complete each garment in its entirety!

Current expenses I need help with:

Base Yarn: 30 skeins (10 red, 10 black, 10 blue) - $4.99/per roll

Glitter Yarn: 3pk - $19.93

Tulle: 5 rolls - $9.49/per roll

Elastic Thread: 3 rolls - $9.99/per roll

Victorian Bustle Cages: 2 skirts - $29.99/each

Garter Clips: 20pk - $6.99

For the last month and a half I’ve been crocheting my heart away in preparation for my first fashion show as a designer! This is a huge leap for me as I’ve only been crocheting for a little over a year. I started crocheting as a hobby and it’s turned into a full blown passion. I started making one of a kind pieces for myself, my family and my friends and I just love seeing my work come to life! I recently started an Instagram page and opened an online shop to sell and show my work and I even came up with a brand name: CROCHETHAUZ! Both pages are gaining a little bit of traction but no sales yet! And with no sales, I have 0 funds available to put towards the fashion show. I have some reaallyyy cool shit swirling around in my head and my vision boards and concepts have helped me iron out all the details. Now I just need to make everything.
