Alex Parker's Emergency Financial Needs

Hi everyone! Alex Parker of "Axe To Grind" podcast here. (I used to work with Flying Tart Records and R.E.X. Music.) I moved from Los Angeles to Tulsa, OK in 2022 to work for a documentary film company. Disappointingly, this transition has been rife with financial pitfalls. Additionally, my pay has been poverty level at best.

As creatives, we usually know what we're getting ourselves into when we devote ourselves to a craft, project or movement. Suffering for art is hopefully rewarded by moments of joy, satisfaction or at least appreciation. The past year and a half for me has yielded little of that.

My head is held high. My spirit is still soaring. I know this season will pass. However, I am in need to cover current (and overdue) expenses and repay a few people I have borrowed from. I'm appealing to the creative community because I'm sure you can all identify with what I'm going through.
